A Year With Flowers Book Hop!

Thank you for hopping along today with the Gina K. Design Team!! If you arrived here from Donna Baker‘s blog, then you’re right where you should be. You can always go to StampTV to start from the beginning.  The inspiration for today’s hop came from Melanie Muenchinger’s new book called, A Year of Flowers.

While you can make every design in the book with Melanie’s all occasion “A Year of Flowers” set, today’s samples showcase her coordinating florals, which can also be used with the book’s tutorials and designs, and provide endless options and more value for your money. We are excited to share cards and projects we created using some of our favorite flower sets designed by Melanie! We love her new book and know you will too – don’t miss out on getting your very own copy which you can purchase HERE!

My sample uses Pressed Flowers.

Hope you’re finding some great inspiration and wonderful designs to get your creativity jump-started!  You can find the newest stamp sets and lots of wonderful accessories in Gina’s Store. And then join us on Stamp TV for the challenges and surprises and crafty videos galore!!!

Next go to Giovana Smith‘s blog, to continue the hop!

Leave comments along our hop today to enter to win one of Melanie’s coordinating floral sets of your choice. The more comments you leave the more chances to win! Melanie will draw a name randomly from one blog and post the winner tomorrow morning.  She is also giving away her Crazy Daisy digital patterned paper FREE if you link Gina’s video or her post, please see Melanie’s blog for details! Good Luck!

Gina K Inspiration Blog Hop – Day 3

Hello!  For the final day of the Inspiration Blog Hop, I have the newest Buy 3 Get 1 FREE set to share with you!  I always love the little sets Gina comes up with for the freebies, and Fresh Start is no exception!  And adorable spring set that has the cutest sentiments!

I sneak peeked this card for the Invitation Hop, and now you can see all of it!  I used markers to ink up the image and then dug up some old October Afternoon papers to make a bright, spring card!

Gina K Inspiration Blog Hop -Day 2

Hello!  Today I have two more great sets to share! Whimsical Spring by Theresa Momber and Girl Talk by Tami Mayberry.  As usual, Theresa has illustrated some gorgeous nature images.  And Tami has adorable sentiments to use in her set, the one I chose to use just cracks me up!

For Whimsical Spring, I started coloring some butterflies with my Copics.  Then while flipping through my paper stash, I found this sheet that was just perfect for the sentiment I wanted to use.  I decided to use just one of the butterflies I had colored an pop it up as an accent to the sentiment.  I really like the cute square card – and this on turned out just right!  I curled the edges of the butterfly just a bit to give it dimension – I love the simplicity here!

As soon as I saw Girl Talk, I knew I had to use this sentiment!  It just cracks me up!  I didn’t have any papers that had chocolate on them, but this older Basic Grey pad with cupcakes works for me!

Gina K Inspiration Blog Hop – Day 1

I hope that you were all able to stop by the Release Party at StampTV last night.  It was a fun, chatty time!  Today I have two great stamp sets to share with you.

First up is a new set from illustrator Rupa Shevda: Mehndi Wishes

I chose to go with the henna tattoo look by using some damask paper in a dark brown on cream color scheme.  Then added just a tiny pop of color for an accent.  This is a gorgeous set that can be used with the images colored in or left alone!

Next I have the 3rd edition of Melanie Muenchinger’s Stately Flowers.  Stately Flowers 3 features Mississippi, Montana, Alaska and Louisiana.  Gorgeous flowers ready to be colored!  I used Copic markers on mine.
