First up for the last day of the Inspiration Hop is something from the latest StampTV kit, Merry Little Christmas.  This kit is fantastic – it has a beautiful set called City of David and a fun holiday set called Merry Little Christmas.  I chose to use City of David for this card.  I love the silhouette images and the sentiments.

Lastly, I have the latest Buy 3 Get 1 FREE!  Holiday Tags is super cute and easy to use!  I don’t usually take the time to make my own tags, but I made these 4 in about five minutes this evening – and using random scraps from my previous holiday cards this week!  Gotta love that!  I think I’ll make use of some more of my holiday paper scraps and do some more!

First up today I have something with Becky Oehlers’ newest set, Mistletoe Memories.  I am terrible at photographing bling – but it works perfectly on the berries for the mistletoe!  I went with a simple stamped image on some patterned paper – love easy for Christmas cards!

Next I have Beth Silaika’s newest set, Deck the Halls.  I love that this can be used to make super gorgeous cards and super simple ones!  I went with the white one layer – cause like I said, I love simple for Christmas cards!  I did one color combo first and just wasn’t quite feeling it.  I like the second combo much better.

Lastly, I have Simple Snowflakes by Tami Mayberry.  Continuing the super simple Christmas card trend for the week – I went with white ink on Kraft cardstock.  One of my favorite looks!  A tiny pop of Ocean Mist thrown in there – and voila!

First up I have Theresa Momber’s Vogue Vases 2.  I adore flowers.  I adore flowers in vases.  I adore this set.  I actually couldn’t stop making cards with this set.  I’m showing only two today, I’ll save the others for later!  I like paper piecing the vase, but the set comes with outlines and solids of the vase – so you can do it however you like!  Here are the two I am showing today:

Next up, I have more of Melanie Muenchinger’s popular Stately Flowers.  This is the next installment, Stately Flowers 5.  As always, Melanie has really done a fantastic job on this series!  I chose to use my copics on this one and then a simple design for the rest.  When I take the time to use my copics, I like that to be more of the focus on the card.

I had this great paper that looked like old wood – and the Primitive Blessings set was just perfect for it!  I’ve had it for awhile but couldn’t ever find something that really worked with it.  I thought the red and cream checkerboard was a perfect match with the wood grain and the image!  Anyway, I paired with with a nice brick red and several Tim Holtz distress inks – my favorite things to use!

I love label sets.  Since I adore pretty papers, label sets are the easiest way to do something pretty on pretty papers!  Now, I have a terrible time taking good pictures of bling.  It always shows up dark and not nearly as pretty.  I don’t know why that is – if you have tips, let me know!  Anyway, I blinged up this card using Seasonal Labels.  I alternated teal and pink bling to match the colors on the card – and IRL, it’s super sparkly!

For some reason I was on a small cards kick when I made these.  I started out using Beth’s new set, Wicked, to make some cute, tiny cards for the boys.  And I just kept going.  These range from 3×3 to 4.5×4.5.  I even broke out the embossing powder here!  That’s huge, people!  This set is just adorable.  And the boys could not wait to get their hands on it either!

{Click on thumbnails to see a larger view of each individual card.  That last monster guy is my favorite – he is too cute!}

Then I made another small card using Rebecca’s newest set, You Say Goodbye and I say Ello.  There are just too many cute images in this set!   I paper pieced that cute mug for a small, quick card for a friend.  Perfect for a quick note!  Love that border stamp, worked great for a little background for this!

I am always using post-it notes to jot down things I see that I like, stuff I need to do, things I want to buy, etc.  I like having one nearby whenever I am on my laptop checking out blogs and the like.  I have always loved making post-it note holders for them – keeps the kids from running off with all my post-its (if I make them girly enough!) and they hold together better that way too.  I’ve got an old tutorial on how to make one if you have not done one before {HERE}.  I loved the *love it*, *want it* lines from Tami’s newest set, Take Note, and figured it would be perfect for a new post-it note holder to jot down all my crafty purchase needs!

So I am all moved in to our new place.  It’s always interesting (A LOT OF WORK) to arrange a new crafty space.  I’ll try to take some photos of my new one later this week.  I am a little weirded out by my room right now – I’ve always had my ink on my right side, as I am right handed.  But it just didn’t work in this space so it’s on the left.  I’ll have to get used to that!  Anyway, it felt really good to get in there and made some things!

I have a rather adventurous paper piecing card using Melanie’s Beyond Baskets.  I paired it with Basket Additions 2 – wanted to make a cute birthday card.  And man, that was a LOT of tiny cutting!  But I really like how it turned out!

So after all that fussy cutting, I decided to do something a little more clean and simple.  I love the idea of using non-traditional colors for holiday cards.  Let’s face it – red and green can get pretty boring sometimes!  So I went with pink and turquoise for this one.  Much more me!  This card uses Theresa’s newest set Joyful Holiday.
