Blog Goodies!!

So to celebrate World Card Making Day that was this past Saturday, I’ve got two more sets of goodies to give away!  These include some more of GinaK’s holiday collection.  You know that skinny snowman stamp that many of you listed as your favorite??  He’s in one of the prize packs!  There are some *big* changes coming your way from GinaK and I could not be more excited about all of them!!  She’s gonna knock your socks off, just wait!

So here are the prize packs….these are #3 and #4 from Gina’s extra stamps she sent me – along with some goodies I added!

includes: Gina K Stamps – polar bear, North Pole sign and the oh so cute Sandy Claws; some Christmas self-adhesive rhinestones; a clear block and a corner punch from the Target $1 spot.

includes: american crafts ribbon; clear block; small christmas tree stamp from SU; more holiday rhinestones; and these GinaK images: celebrate the magic, North Pole sign; reindeer and that skinny Snowman!

So here’s how to win!

Since this is in celebration of World Card Making Day, why don’t you tell me how you celebrated?  Did you make some cards, did you watch some college football, or did you sleep all Saturday?

Here’s the rules:

1. Post a comment on this thread telling me what you did Saturday (preferably in reference to World Card Making Day, lol!).

2. Contest ends on Wednesday, 8pm CST.  (October 10th)

3. I will choose and post a winner Thursday morning (using the Random Number Generator).  (October 11th)

Good luck!

I and another demo had a 5/5 and actually had 4 people show. That is good turn out for where we are. Living in the Grand Canyon makes for some intersting turn out but you cannot beat the back yard that we have. We will never make a million but we will always have fun.

Love those Christmas blocks! As for WCMD, after the kids games were done for the day (we have one in football, one in baseball), I snuck upstairs and made one card because I just felt I *had* to!! I mean, it was WCMD, after all! Oh, and I did run a special all work that ended on Sat. and got one good order out of it, so I’m happy with that!

I had a kids workshop for WCMD. The ages ranged from 4-14. I had them make 2 Halloween cards and a Birthday card. I put all the supplies they needed in the middle of the table and told them to go for it. There are pics on my blog of the cards the kids made http://www.stampwithme-jen.blogspot
After everyone left I made a few cards myself couldnt let the kids have all the fun 🙂

  • I didn’t get to stamp on Saturday! Can you believe that? I was busy helping support my daughters marching band as they marched in our hometown Country Day’s Parade! Had a great time though!

  • Well, Saturday is Soccer day here in the fall. So I spent my Saturday taking my kids to t heir soccer games and cheering them on! Didn’t get to stamp…but I did admire my 100 birthday cards that I made recently. They are a part of my “Birthday in a box” Christmas gifts this year!

  • Well…. saturday..let’s see! Woke up really early (6AM) to start making a card to celebrate WCMD (yes, i did celebrate’s a must, right?) I was able to make 1 card in the morning and then i had to do some house cleaning (i guess, i have to do that also). Had to leave around 10AM to go to my hubby’s company picnic but left after lunch to help out a demo (she did a large group and needed some help) and stayed there for couple of hours and went back to the picnic. Went home around 7pm and made 4 more cards =)

  • I wish I had something interesting to say but on WCD, I took my daughter to a birthday party. We got a call a short time later that she was having an allergic reaction to the ponies at the party. She has been around and ridden ponies a billion times before so I don’t know what happened! Anyway, I spent WCD with a four year old with hives. 😛

  • Hey Emily!
    What fun blog candy!!
Saturday I had a bunch of ladies over to do a card class. The fees for their card class went to benefit the children’s hospital here. My niece has spent a lot of her whole six months of life there and I totally appreciate what they have done for them, and her. SO, I decided I wanted to give back in a tangible way, so that they can keep doing for other special kids all the amazing things they did for our precious Samantha.

  • Thanks for the great blog candy as usual! We did an open house for World Card making day! We had a good turnout and had fun!

  • Irene

I took my daughter who just celebrated her 13th birthday to book store to pick out her birthday gift.

On Saturday, I went to Archivers shopping for my stamps. I did do a Make and Take there. I was then in the card making mood, so I went home and made several different cards. What a great excuse to stamp. WCMD. I hope you pull my name as it will give me another excuse to stamp..stamp..stamp.

    Happy Stamping everyone!!
