quick post-it note holders

My mom asked me to bring 8 post-it note holders for her to use as gifts when I came up this weekend.  Since she asked the day before I left – I needed to do them quickly.  So I chose this design using GinaK’s Punchy Words stamp – merry & bright.  I used 4 different Christmas papers and made 2 of each.  You can find my post-it tutorial <here>.

supplies: basicgrey fruitcake, dasher and rusty pickle snowflakes & mittens papers; old olive, wild wasabi, real red, white and cranberry crisp cardstock; post-it notes; Punchy Words by GinaK Designs; markers; dimensionals, SU scallop circle punch and regular circle punch; and mono multi (this works great for attaching the post-it pads).

Ok – so for those of you who ventured out – what was your best buy?

I wasn’t shopping for Christmas gifts or anything – just whatever and hanging with my sis.  I did score some pj pants at Old Navy  (cause dude – you can NEVER have enough Old Navy pj pants!) with GNOMES on them!!!  Totally cool!  I looked for a pic online, but there wasn’t one.  I’ll have to take a pic of mine sometime.

Oh, and my best buy – I got some shorts at babyGap for Andy – only $2.97 a pair!  For nice cargo khaki shorts!  Wish they would have had more than 2 pairs!
