CC146, another gnome and a Christmas treat….

Well – I posted CC146 really early so in case any of you had free time tonight, you could work on it! I don’t think I’ll be getting to the CC this week, but I figured some people might be looking for it! More info <here>.

And now for a little Christmas treat – another little something we took to friends the other night……

Yummy, huh? Triple chocolate fudge cupcakes with vanilla icing and sprinkles from Target (the red have little white candy canes and the green have little white snowflakes.)

And then I thought I would share the Christmas present I got to open today. My Dad stopped by and gave Matthew and I our gifts and I got this uber cute little guy!

Yep! It’s a Nebraska gnome!! Isn’t he so cute! Now I have two gnomes outside and the little guy inside!

There they are outside together. Thank you Dad and Cindy!

I hope you are all having a lovely Christmas Eve. We’ve been to the kid friendly Christmas Eve service and now we’re going to eat (a totally christmas-y meal of guacamole and hamburgers….) then it’s out to look at Christmas lights and have hot chocolate! We’ll finish the evening off with a reading of the story of Jesus’ birth and then it’s bed time! Matthew and I will be up late wrapping presents. We love having only a few under the tree and then hearing the boys when they wake up and there are a bunch! And no, they aren’t from Santa – we aren’t big on Santa here.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow and that you are able to share it with family and friends.

  • Merry Christmas to you and your family too!

  • I so agree with limiting Santa. Santa usually brings only one or two (max) small gifts to my girls. But we also like to keep the suspense up with them just not thinking they are getting many gifts at all.

    Merry Christmas to your family!

    Be Blessed!

  • oh I as so jealous. I had tons of gnomes in my yard and I adopted a dog in late November and just didnt think. He ate almost all my gnomes! I am so particucar on how they look and maybe one is left somewhat intact. He eats everything! he even now just stole a raw potato and went to eat it in front of the tv.

happy day to you and may it soon be spring (I know I have a long way to go but I am already sick of this)

There’s no place like gnome..esp Husker gnome. Love it! Hope all are tucked quietly in bed and dreaming of a fun morning.
