Now for CC149…Funny story, I made one of the samples for this week’s challenge.  Then I came back a few hours later and made a second one.  I was just putting the finishing touches on the second sample when I realized I had used the wrong color!  Ooops!  So I made a second one in the correct challenge colors.  I’ll share them all though.  If you want to see the challenge, click <here>.

My first sample – a simple fabriano card:

supplies: fabriano note card; a muse sentiment; fancy pants happy (?); palette noir; rose red, apricot appeal and sage shadow reinkers; niji waterbrush; and narrow organdy ribbon.

Then I made this one…..this is the right colors:

supplies: roses in winter (SU); a muse sentiment; rose red, apricot appeal and sage shadow reinkers; palette noir; heidi swapp distressor; dimensionals; itty bitty backgrounds; ruffled white ribbon; dyed grosgrain ribbon, niji waterbrush.

And then for the card in the wrong colors!  It’s the same as the one above, only I used real red instead of rose red.  I am sharing it only because it was actually a good combo!  I like the way the real red mixed with the apricot – it really softened the red!

And now I am going to bed – enjoy the color combo!
