Using a scrap and a quick card…

Well, as the Arlington Stamp Day approaches – I’m getting busier!  So if there aren’t many posts this week – that’s why!  And my Aunt has been visiting the past few days so we’ve been hanging out.  But I do have some cards from class last week to share still.  Oh and I will be posting some more about the monogram stamps – but probably not until next week.  There were several people that asked some of the same questions so I figured I’d address them here for everyone.   But I know I won’t get to it this week!

So remember <this magnet> I made?  Well, it left a lovely, slightly embossed square.  So I figured I would go  ahead and cover it with the paper left over and stamp a verse on it.  Then I put a magnet on the back and voila!   A sweet little magnet!

supplies: everyday blessings stamp set from PTI; simplicity paper from Fancy Pants; mono multi; chocolate chip ink; chocolate chip marker for the edges; and I sanded it slightly.

And this was a quick card we made at class last week using some Chatterbox papers I found in the back of a file….

supplies: out on a limb by PTI; colorbox cat’s eye ink pads; grosgrain ribbon from one of my shares; dimensionals; nestabilities; white and cranberry crisp cardstock; and chatterbox paper.

And guess who started carrying the Nestabilities dies??  They have fantastic prices, SUPER fast shipping, and FREE shipping over $25!  Look for them <here>!   Ok, a nice long morning of buying food for Saturday and then hauling it all in to the church fridges….fun times!

I love how you pull the color from the paper and make them an extension in your stamping. Looks fabulous.
