NSD and other stuff

Well, today is not only Arlington Stamp Day – but it’s also National Scrapbooking Day! So – while I’ll be gone all day, I thought I’d share some of the freebies, sales, etc. that I’ve found so far. I am sure there are many more out there – but these are what I’ve picked up. And hopefully I won’t be too exhausted tonight to take advantage of a few of the fab sales out there!

I found a fab kit available at Memory Makers Magazine done by Emily Powers. <click here>

Dani Mogstad has a super cute FREE circle quickpage album <here>!

There is a fantastic comprehensive list of all the digital shops having sales <here>.

There are tons of grab bags put out for this weekend and you can see what is in a lot of them <here>, that way you can check it out before you pay for it.

And there is always a great list of freebies to found <here>. (I recommend bookmarking this site and checking often.)

So I hope those help you out! If you’re thinking of trying out digital scrapbooking – this is a great time to pick up a ton of free or very cheap goodies to play with!

And here’s something I made to hold the gift certificate GinaK donated as a prize for today…..it’s a regular card size…

and the inside – I attached the ribbon to the inside of the card, then glued the gift certificate down on top of the ribbon. The ribbon ties around the front….so it’s inside and the code and such isn’t visible or anything. I think it turned out cute and it was really easy! (oh and I fixed the fact that the ribbon was kinda slanted…..)

supplies: Framed Flowers by Carolyn King for GinaK Designs; soft sky and vanilla cardstock; soft sky and mellow moss ink; classic nestability dies; glossy flyer paper for printing the GC; moss grosgrain; dimensionals; and liquid pearls.

Ok, I’m going to bed to catch a bit of sleep before stamp day! Dinner was a lot of fun – I met a few stampers I hadn’t met before and got to see several I hadn’t seen in a long while! Tomorrow should be a lot of fun!!
