500,000 hits Blog Goody!

Sorry I didn’t get back here to post this for y’all yesterday! It’s been such a hectic week! Anyway – after Andy’s ball game this morning and a myriad of errands…..I’m back home -and here’s the goods!

To celebrate 500,000 hits I’m giving away this:

Yep! I’ve got one of the DIY Just Rite Manual Monogram kits to give away! This one includes 3 “Damask” borders, 1 large Times New Roman alpha and a wooden mount to use it all on! (Thank you to The Stamp Castle for the prize!)

I’m also throwing in a random selection of 1/4 in grosgrain ribbon as well! Here’s how to win!

I’m looking for a selection of nice quality envelopes in all kinds of sizes. Mostly smaller than the normal A2 size. Please tell me about envelopes OTHER THAN A2 sized ones!  SO – here’s what I want you to do!

1. Comment on this post and link me to a good online envelope source! If you don’t know of one…..that’s ok – you can just say Hi! Please only link me up if it is a place you know has nice quality envelopes!!

2. Contest ends Monday, May 12th at 8pm CST.

3. I will use the random number generator to choose a winner!

Good luck!! And thank you for visiting here so much! At least somebody likes to hear {read} my rambling thoughts!

Congrats on 500,000 hits! I don’t buy envelopes online. I get them at Staples. I used to buy them at WalMart thinking they were the best price, but they’re actually cheaper at Staples since it’s a pretty large box.

Sorry, no envelope ideas. Congrats on your blog milestone!

I purchase a lot of envelopes (and cardstock) from cutcardstock http://www.cutcardstock.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=8
Great quality and service and they often have coupons available. As you can see they have many different sizes to choose from. Hope you find something you can use. Hope you are having a great evening. 🙂

I usually get my envelopes from SU or a local craft/scrap store so I don’t have another suggestion, but wanted you to know that I love your blog and have enjoyed looking at it (almost daily! LOL!). Thank you for the blog candy. I would really LOVE to win this!

I learn so much from your site!!Thanks for all the tutorials and ideas. It appears that A.C. Moore has a huge selection of envelopes.
Also the HP Idea Site has some interesting things in their stationary section. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/acCategory?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&extcat=invitationsstationery&

  • Ugh, I am hitting myself for not looking at your blog this morning since I will be one of the last to post, which means I probably don’t have a chance to win. . .oh well! I buy my envelopes from here: http://www.xpedx.com/

Great quality and HUGE selection. I never buy on-line since the store is here, but I would assume they have all the same stuff. Congrats on all the hits.

I need a good source for smaller envies too! I’d like to make a stationery set in the smaller BAR size.

Man I love these, what an incredible giveaway and your cards are just awesome! Try asking the person who works for the major card manufacturers, as a rep they go in to small drugstores and grocery stores to replenish with new and seasonal cards. Their envelopes are all to go in the garbage, and if you show them what you do and ask if they might have any extra’s you could use, you’ll get a whole lot of different sizes of envelopes. Happy Day!! 🙂
