I am so sorry I didn’t post this earlier!  Matthew and I got last minute tickets to the Dallas Stars hockey playoff game last night.  It was so awesome!  We lost (but we’re really Blackhawks fans anyway!) but we had a great time!  I have  a lot of things stored away on my card reader that I need to post here, so I may flood y’all with posts this week.

Also – my sister Kimberly is just fine.  She said to think about the distance from NYC to Houston – that’s how far they were from the earthquake.  If you want to read her post, it’s <here>.  But thank you to all of you who emailed asking if she was ok!

And I guess y’all might wanna know who won that super cool DIY Monogram Set…….well, I’ll get to that in a minute!  First – while I have your attention – how about the Color Challenge for today?  You can find more info about CC166 <here>.  This week’s was a birthday card for my friend Jenn – and it was inspired by some fab paper I got yesterday.  I love this girl’s digi designs at FPD and was thrilled when she got on with Prima’s new paper lines.  I found two of her lines Dude and Whisper the other day and I LOVE them!  This card uses the Dude papers….

supplies: Simple Little Things – PTI anniversary set; DUDE papers by Just Corina for Prima; aqua mist PTI cardstock, ribbon and ink; white cardstock; ruby red and  pumpkin pie SU inks; palette noir ink; circle punch 3/4 SU; classic circle nestabilities; label trio nestabilities; dimensionals; paper piercer and template; and American Crafts marker for faux stitching.

So now….how about that winner???  I think that this is the MOST entries I have ever had in a blog goody contest!  WOW!  And here’s the lucky winner:
