Something stamped….and some fireworks.

Well – the boys sort of enjoyed the 4th.  Andy hated the noise of the big fireworks.  Alex loved it all.  Adam was so tired by the time they started (they got delayed an hour due to technical difficulties) he was pretty cranky.  But they liked the sparklers!  (And yes, we did use a bucket of water to drop them in and the ‘hiss’ it made hitting the water was pretty cool!)

And my attempt at photographing fireworks…

Considering I had no idea what I was doing – I like them!

And now for something crafty!  And I do have a “Stuff I like” post – but it might be up later tomorrow instead of first thing.  This card is one we made at class last month.  I can’t get enough of this set!

supplies: Everyday Blessings by PTI; sage shadow, basic black and white cardstock; white taffeta ribbon; palette noir ink; sage shadow reinker; niji waterbrush; and self-adhesive pearls.

That’s all for now!   I hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend!

  • Emily—I LOVE this card. This has convinced me that I HAVE to have it—the set, not the card!!! I love the scriptures included with it and I always need these types of verses for people who are ill or have lost a loved one. SOOOOO, thanks for that enabling….it’s for “ministry”, right? RIGHT, so onto the photos—I have the same camera as you—did you use the Night setting? Those are beautiful! I’d love to know what you did to capture them (since I have no idea either!!) Thanks for sharing~

  • I love all of your fireworks pics and this card is gorgeous!! I’m glad you guys had a great 4th!!
