Ok - so this is my challenge for y’all! (And I’m thinking I should start a little blog hopping challenge - what do ya think? Once a week? less often? sketch or color or what? Hmmmm……)
Anyway, mine is an idea I started awhile back and then didn’t keep up with. I don’t know about you, but I have tons of patterned paper. And the older stuff….well, it ends up just sitting there. So I decided to try to use it by challenging myself to use One Sheet a week. (OSC - One Sheet Challenge) Not necessarily like a One Sheet Wonder - as there is no template, I don’t care if you use every tiny scrap, and 3-D items are totally acceptable. You are welcome to use other patterns, papers, etc as you like. Wanna play?
Here are the first two I did - {OSC1} and {OSC2}. And here is today’s! This was using a sheet of Fancy Pants Daydreams paper. One side was a solid pink and the other had patterned circles. I ended up making 4 cards from this sheet. I could have used the bits to make more, but it’s late! I also layered a lot using it so it didn’t stretch as far. But really, the idea is just to use some of that pretty paper you have lying around - not to make a huge amount of stuff. That’s just a bonus!

I love the cards you made. The colours go so well together and I love the simplicity of the designs. I find that some cards I’ve seen on the net are too busy and the sentiment gets lost in all the embellishments. There’s a lot to be said for simplicity.

I especially love the layout of that first card. I need to do something like that! Great job and a great idea for a challenge!

The second card in this posting fits your challenge. I’ve been hoarding teeny tiny pieces of this paper because I like it so much.
