Today I have TWO sneak peeks of sets to be released Thursday! The first is a peek at the new One Free with 3 set by Gina K. I really like this set and I think many of you will too! The second is a peek at Rupa Shevda’s newest illustrations for Gina K. And I’ll tell you – my boys really like this set! They have already *claimed* some of the stamps in it, lol!
So first up is my sample with Summer Harvest….this is also my submission for the Dare to Get Dirty ‘o8 challenge from Christine - watercoloring! (yes, that’s not really a challenge since I love to do it!!)
To make it a little more challenging – I did the watercoloring with SU markers technique that Cambria posted a tutorial to. I liked it much better on this larger image than on the Lockhart flowers stamp – I think with a thick tipped marker like that, in order to really spread the color around – you need an image large enough to work with.
supplies: Summer Harvest (coming soon!) by Gina K Designs; mellow moss, real red, basic black and watercolor cardstock; palette noir ink; classic rectangle nestabilities; niji waterbrush; SU markers; paper towel (for dabbing off extra water/ink); dimensionals; cloud prismacolor marker; Heidi Swapp Distresser; and mellow moss taffeta.
And then for JulieHRR’s DTGD08 Challenge – Embrace the White Space (making a clean simple white card), I made this using Rupa’s newest set: Whatever Floats Your Boat.
supplies: Whatever Floats Your Boat (coming soon!) by Rupa Shevda for Gina K Designs; palette noir ink; koh-i-noor woodless pencils, OMS and blending stumps; American Crafts ribbon; dimensionals; classic rectangle nestabilities; and PTI white cardstock.
So those are my sneak peeks for today! You can see more samples and hear more about these sets on Gina’s blog {here}! There are also more links to the other Design Team members samples!
The release party will be tomorrow night (Thursday), July 24th from 7-10pm CST {HERE!!} – then the new goodies go live in the store! Hope to see you there!
And watch for the Dare To Get Dirty 08 Challenges for tomorrow {here} – I made a sample for one of these and I’ll share it with y’all tomorrow!

Both of these cards look fabulous! Love the colours of the first one and the second is just so right. I find white so hard to embrace but you’ve done a marvelous job!
Love those berries! Your watercoloring is awesome on them! and the elephant, too cute! I love the stamping on white cards, one of my favorite things to do and dont do them much, lol!
great white card! I love that ribbon with it!
Love that elephant!! He is so happy looking! Our oldest daughter (just turned 14) loves elephants and collects them — stuffed one, of course — she also collects elephant stamps as she has been stamping with me for 8 years — this girl smiles almost all the time — just like your little elephant! I cannot wait to show your card to her. Perhaps one of these days this stamp set will “fall out of the sky” to me! Until then … thank you for sharing your wonderful creative talent, it is truly an inspiration to me. God Bless, ~Amy S.~
I love both those cards. Ugh, is it naptime yet, I’ve got a craving to stamp with that Rupa set again!
THese cards are GReat !!!
