Quick gift sets

Do you ever need a gift for someone…..with very little notice? Or perhaps you just put it off so you gave yourself very little time? This is me….all the time, lol! Anyway, I coordinate the Chicken Soup Ministry for our church. When I take meals, I always try to send a little gift if I can. My favorite thing to give is a set of monogram cards. I like this for two reasons: 1. it’s something personalized – which kinda means more, 2. they are quick to put together!

I sent this set with a dinner this weekend. I love using Chatterbox papers for this because the reverse side always coordinates perfectly (I know a lot of papers have this too) and they usually coordinate quite well with my ink/cardstock colors as well.

supplies: C-30 DIY Monogram Stamper kit; chatterbox patterned paper; bashful blue, vanilla and blush blossom cardstock; dimensionals; petite circle nestabilities; sweet blush ink (PTI).

Now, these are smaller cards – 3 1/2 x 5 to be exact. I like this smaller note card size – I think they are perfect for sending a quick note to a friend or writing a thank you note. Because it’s a smaller card size, I used the C-30 Miniature stamper. It’s perfect for a one-initial monogram. I also found those fabulous Crystal Clear boxes to put card sets in for this size note card! I’ll talk about this in more detail for “Stuff I Like” on Sunday, but I got them {here}. I put 5 or 6 cards with envelopes in this box.

And there you have it!  Quick, easy, and personalized!  And if you need to get some more monogram stamps, The Stamp Castle gave me another coupon code to share!  Here are the details:

free shipping on orders $40 or over
-code: SUMMER
-have to select regular Priority shipping
-valid on orders shipping to continental U.S. states only (excludes Hawaii and Alaska)

  • Neat idea! I am thinking this will be perfect for Christmas gifts. Looking forward to seeing info. on Sunday about the clear boxes.

Quick question, what package of Copics do you recommend? I have lots of SU paper and would like to try to coordinate with that when I take the leap….:o) Thanks for the tips on your last post!

I know everyone else probably already knows this but can I ask a question about the nestibilites? How do you so perfectly place the stamp in the die? all the tutorials I have read say to place the die with the cutting edge up then the paper on top of it. If I do that I can’t tell exactly where the stamped image is on the die??? Help, yours always look perfect!!!

  • What a great set of cards. Such an awesome gift. To thank you for all of your inspiration, I have nominated you for an award. You can see it here: http://inkclinations.blogspot.com/

  • I was wondering where you find this size envelope. Any place besides SU?
