Seriously, how about those swimmers?!?! I’ve been so caught up in that I haven’t stamped! We’ve been letting the boys stay up late to watch it with us because really….it only happens every 4 years. And it’s summer. We were all gathered around the TV cheering during that super exciting men’s 4×100 relay. I think we all jumped up and screamed at the end of that one! So fun!!! And that we were all in it together – that really made it exciting!

And how about those USA men in the gymnastics?!?! Good for them!! And if I am spoiling something for you….well, you shoulda been watching, lol! These were all on in prime time already so it’s nothing new!

Anyway, here is the Color Challenge for today. I absolutely loved the sample card from the person who suggested this challenge so I just ran with it. Usually I check the old challenges to make sure it hasn’t been done before. Well….I should have checked because this was CC66 already! Oh well, my card is done and we’ll just have a repeat! It’s a great combo anyway! If you want to see the thread, click {here}. And here’s my sample….

supplies: Garden of Life by PTI; sentiment from A Muse; white, taken with teal, old olive and elegant eggplant cardstock; white ruffled ribbon from May Arts; teal ribbon from my share; long rectangle nestabilities; old olive and elegant eggplant ink; Heidi Swapp Distresser.

I love those long rectangles! Jody did a card at Arlington Stamp Day with them and that was all it took for me! I love the longer length. The envelopes that SU sells (small open-end envelopes – 6 3/4 x 3 1/2) are a perfect fit for the largest scalloped rectangle! Very cool! (If I find another source for that size envelope, I will let you know!)
