Monogram Class, CC180, etc

Ok, I’m not going to complain anymore.  But I am also not going to even discuss the gymnastics scoring.  Seriously……just not even going to go there.  *Deep breaths*  Yup, just not gonna think about it.

Today is Color Challenge day and I was so busy cutting cardstock and getting things ready – I forgot!  So I didn’t have time to make a sample, but I  might squeeze one in tomorrow – it’s a good combo!  You can check it out {here}.

But I do have 2 of the cards we’ll be doing tomorrow (Tuesday) night.  It’s a monogram class – the idea being that you can make a set for someone (or yourself) so they all coordinate.   However, if someone wants to make all theirs for different people, that’s cool too!  I bought a few packs of the Groovy Guava patterned paper before it retired so these are all Guava cards.  We’ll see if the person I am making this set for can figure out it is for them! 😉

  • Cute card and those are my initials 🙂 KAG 🙂

DUDE, the uneven bars. ACK. I have comments! SOOOO many comments! SO wrong!

I’m with you on the scoring thing Emily! Grrrrrrr. And the age thing. And……it could go on and on. Love your monogramed cards…I need to make myself some of these soon!

    Hugs,
    Amy

  • Ooooo!!! I know, I know!

oooh… am so with you on the scoring. Also.. just a pre-emptive warning..Yahoo has the results of the beam right on the front freaking page again. Sigh.

  • I have not been a fan of groovy guava, and it didn’t hurt my feelings that it’s an “In Color” and now it’s “out”, but dang I like it on these cards! Maybe I just didn’t like it with the other colors everyone does it with. (Or maybe I just want what I can’t have now…). Great cards!

  • Love the cards. The groovy guava is very pretty on these cards.
So with you on the scoring. So far we have been jipped (sp) more than once. So not right. Bela is awesome and seems to feel the exact same way I always do about the issues. If there is a tie than they should both get it. Besides there is NO way that Chinese gymnast is 16.

  • Thanks so much for sharing the promo code. I saved $7.80 in shipping charges. I can’t wait to make my own cards.

  • Great cards! Quick and easy.

I’m with you and the gymnastics! If I knew who to write to, I’d send off a blistering letter. At the very LEAST it should have been golds for both of them…but no way were deductions taken properly. Something has GOT to be done…it seems to happen every Olympics!

  • Emily…I’m hopping on your gymnastics rant bandwagon! I hope they change the scoring system again…back to what it was before or something very similar.
