Sheesh! I’ve been trying to get my internet up for well over an hour! No storm, no bad weather - but the power went out a little while ago and I have had no net ever since! Anyway - now I can finally show y’all my sneak peek for today!

But back to the Sneak Peek! Today we’re showing a set by Asela Hopkins. And let me tell you - this one is super cute! I’m not much of an animal person - but these are really adorable!
supplies: Framed Friends by Asela Hopkins for Gina K Designs; watercolor paper; niji waterbrush; SU gingham; black grosgrain; scor-pal; corner rounder; palette noir black ink; brocade blue cardstock; pretty in pink, so saffron, riding hood red, kiwi kiss, brocade blue, basic gray, and chocolate chip reinkers; and dimensionals.
So exactly what color is a lady bug’s body? I thought black…but that wouldn’t be cute for a card. So then I thought red…but that looked like too much red - and a red face?! So then I went with blush blossom - but it didn’t look so good….I ended up with Pretty In Pink. What would you use?

Well, your pink bodied ladybug is just adorable I think! LOve the scoring on the card too! And I had never thought of the body too except in black..hmmmm I’ll have to try different colors when I get this set, lol!

I think your ladybug came out adorable with the Pretty in Pink. Looks like a lot of the DT members are in love with that little cutie!

Your lady bug is cute. A light yellow tummy with the red back. I like using orange so an orangy red would have been the back and the tummy would have been a yellow with a hint toward orange. And black glittered antenae.
Can you tell I have looking at this image and thinking about owning it?
