So I hope you have all been following {Gina’s blog} this week….she’s been posting lots of fun hints at what is in store for her release this week!  Yesterday she shared the first stamp set – Melanie Muenchinger’s newest offering!  You can stop by {Mel’s blog} and see more on that.

Also, today is color challenge day over at SCS.  You can find out more on that {HERE}!

And now for today’s sneak peek!  Miss Gina K has a brand new illustrator joining us today!  And y’all are going to love her designs!  This set is a wonderful man set – and we all know there aren’t enough of those out there!  I played around with watercoloring on this one.  I’ve been really struggling with getting my watercoloring to the *next step* so to speak.  I caught a video tutorial on how Debbie Olson does it over on {the CLASSroom} – it really gave me some ideas.  So this was the first time I tried *treating* the watercolor paper first.  It really made blending a lot easier.  I know I need some more play time with it, but I am already liking my results more.  This one isn’t the best – I got a little overzealous and just kept blending and blending and way overwet my paper.  Oh well, it still looks pretty!

and the inside – I love the sentiment, but it looked better on the plain cardstock – so I put it inside…

supplies: Special Fathers by Nina Brackett for Gina K Designs; Bright Summer Grunge digital paper by Emily Giovanni for Gina K Designs; pumpkin pie, going gray and watercolor cardstock; matte flyer/brochure paper for printing digital designs; palette noir black ink; niji waterbrush; pumpkin pie, so saffron, bashful blue, creamy caramel and close to cocoa reinkers; petite oval nestabilities; sponge, and dimensionals.

Did you notice that little hint in the description?  Yep – I’ve got some new digital papers this month!  And these were pretty different for me – I hope y’all like them!

Be sure to check back this week for lots more samples, hints, contests and more at Gina K’s blog!  And all these Design Team members have samples to share with you today!
