Ok - this will be a short post as I am finishing up Christmas gifts for school. However - I just have to say this nearly killed me to not run ribbon or something across the middle of this card. But since I do that EVERY time, I made myself resist. But it was SO hard!!!

What a wonderful combination! the little embossed birds look like they are hidden behind the cattails….the layering gives movement into the depths of the cattails…who knows what else is in there!

I love ribbon too, but this is simply beautiful JUST as it is, Emily! The nice thing about no ribbon is that it opens the option of sending this to a guy who likes things CAS. No frills!

Beautiful card. I have the same problem I always want to add it, and made three cards for this hop with no ribbon. I swear my hands were shaking the whole time!
