Hey there everyone!  It’s the last challenge of 2013!  Just a quick announcement before we get to this month’s challenge.  We will be taking a “time-out” at the store as of January 1, 2014.

There have been some monumental changes in our household this past month, so after careful deliberation, we have decided to close down the Ribbon Carousel store as we face these new challenges and blessings.  We’ll still have the blog challenges. We just won’t have any products that we’ll be selling.  Sooooo…..if you’ve ever want a Ribbon Carousel, be sure to pick one up before they sell out!

Now, on to this month’s challenge.  With all of the swirling excitement as we get ready for a brand new year, we thought it best to make this months challenge an easy one…sooooo…..

Each month we are giving away a Ribbon Carousel to one of our randomly chosen challenge participants!

Just a reminder that our Ribbon Carousel Crewmates have divided up into FOUR teams. Each week you will see fresh projects for this month’s challenge!

There are only three (3) rules you must follow to be eligible for the prize:

  1. You MUST use ribbon, twine, thread, washi tape or anything that comes on a spool on your creation
  2. Your project must be based on the theme of the month.
  3. You must add a NEW project to the inlinkz below and link directly back to your project on your blog or online gallery. (Unfortunately, we’ve had participants who would have won the challenge, but they didn’t do a direct link to their blog and I couldn’t find their creation!)

Check out some crafty eye candy from our talented Crewmates for a little inspiration before you link up your project at the bottom of this post!

I have made these many times – in fact, you can find the tutorial {HERE}.  I use the metal mailboxes that can often be found at Target’s dollar spot (they have them at Michaels as well, but I do not know if they are identical in size for tutorial purposes.) I think they are adorable and can be used for so many different things.  I had a few gifts I needed to make up for people and this worked for what I had in mind.  Enjoy!

Stop by The Ribbon Carousel blog for more inspiration and enter your own creation to win a fabulous carousel of your own!!

And be sure to check out my Stamps For Sale – I’m sure you need some of them!!  I recently added several new sets to the list, be sure to look for them!
