Okay, here’s the next installment to this week’s One Sheet a Week Challenge. This is the same Chatterbox paper I used on the picture frames earlier this week.
I stamped the floral stamps from papertreyink’s Green Thumb stamp set. I used bashful blue and stamped it off once for the first layer and then stamped it fully inked for the second layer (the smaller flower). I used my Quickie Glue Pen on the center of the flowers and then dusted Dazzling Diamonds glitter in the centers. I used one of the shorter ‘stem’ stamps to make grass and also stamped the grasshopper in certainly celery. The rust layer is the reverse side of this Chatterbox paper. Then it was layered on certainly celery and the bottom was pierced with my paper piercer using the SU template. That whole image panel was mounted on dimensionals and adhered to the floral chatterbox paper. I used the word window punch from su to do the sentiment. I stamped ‘celebrate’ from everyday flexible phrases from SU in stazon. Then I used glue dots to put a Prima daisy crazy flower on the end of the punch. I used a self-sticking rhinestone in the center of the flower. That is layered on white and then on a celery card base.
This is one of the MANY Mother’s Day cards I had to make this week. I don’t have a great Mother’s Day stamp (still searching for one I like) so I just put ‘celebrate’. Okay, back to making cookies with the boys!
